Our goal is to encourage the leadership potential of the children of immigrant families, ages 9-15, by learning skills that are important to servant-leadership. Our program is faith-based, as we seek to follow the style of leadership that Jesus practiced by serving and caring for others. We learn communication skills, teamwork, scripture, and a variety of other topics related to our faith and our desire to serve and become advocates and activists for those in need. In addition, we learn about issues of immigration that are relevant to our participants. In 2019 we look forward to our focus on the Journey – sharing stories from the Exodus, and from our own lives and visioning for our journey into the future.
